Even if  you are the only person involved,  you still need to persuade yourself to stay focused and motivated. So it would make sense to develop your hypnotic persuasion skills. To me it is just an application of the 80/20 rule.

A small increase in your persuasive ability means a huge shift in the results that you can get over time. As an experiment think this through for a few moments.
